At this point you can get 2 alternatives. The standard Atwood GC6AA water heater is the 10E model in some stores. Another option would be the Dometic RV Water Heater #DMC74FR.
It appears that Dometic is phasing out the Atwood GC6AA water heater brand and replacing these parts with their own brand of parts and appliances. It may have been a long-awaited move since Dometic bought Atwood a few years ago.
The model above is a 6 gallon water tank, which is exactly the same as the Atwood model. Unfortunately, it’s not as big as the Atwood model it replaces, but at 12 gallons per hour it’s fine.

However, the replacement Dometic RV water heater #DMC74FR would be slightly smaller than this model, but should work just as well, if not better, once installed.
The specifications of the Dometic model are: gas and electric, autopilot, 120 volts, 10,000 Btu, 6 gallon tank and dimensions: 12-3/4 L x 12-3/4 W x 19-7/8 d inches.
It should easily fit a door designed for an Atwood model and you may need to convert the door to a Domatic option using one of the conversion kits available for this conversion.

The Atwood GC6AA water heater-10E does not run on gas or electricity.
The first point of attraction would be the diverter valves. If they are not in the correct position, the water cannot flow into the tank. Make sure the valves are in the correct position to allow the water to flow properly.
Next, check your wiring. When you take the measurement, the multimeter should read +12 on the orange or white lead. If your green ground wire doesn’t read +12, you have an open ground wire. The green wire is on pin 6 next to pin 4.
